Not sure if there’s a better place to post it. This seemed the most-relevant in light of one of the ultimate WASPy rich dicks mocking the homeless.
My problem is that my good pants accidentally become work pants but they still pant just fine. I draw the line at ragged holes personally. As you say, it bothers other people a lot more than it bothers me.
