119·5 months agoThe phrase Japanese First was meant to express rebuilding Japanese people’s livelihoods by resisting globalism.
This isn’t such a bad thing, by itself. For one, Japan’s entirely beholden to the American tech giants for its tech sector and really should start its own buildout.

2·8 months agoThe issue is emotionally charged and highly divisive, so it is unsurprising to me. FWIW, I think the EU is doing what it can with diplomacy, but Putin has already shown that he cannot be reasoned with in this manner.
