Sanders won several states. Kamala was polling so badly she dropped out before Iowa.

I’m sorry that accurately remembering the 2020 primary is so upsetting to you, but Kamala did not win a single state, even as a VP choice. She dropped out in December of 2019. Voting started in February of 2020. Biden eventually secured the nomination, and on August 11th, the day that the final state voted, he named Kamala as his running mate.. Anyway, maybe before you jump into a thread and start calling people dumbasses, you should make sure that literally everything you’re saying isn’t wrong.

They didn’t say anything about Trump, they said she had no shot of winning the primary, which is true. She was on track to lose every single state, including California, where she was a sitting senator. If you think describing polling data from a 5 year old primary is somehow saying Kamala is, “worse than Trump,” you should log off for a while, maybe take a walk or something.

His, “opposition,” is going to be other Democratic primary challengers. Can you at least wait until there’s a nominee before you start in with the, “Oh, you want the Republicans to win!?!?” bullshit?

The only reason Newsom has had any interest from the broader electorate is that he was outspoken in opposing Trump. The minute he enters the primary and starts spouting the same valueless, donor-approved, corporate drivel as Kamala, Jefferies, Schumer, etc., he’s going to flame out fast.

I doubt the DNC wants her. The Biden folks were trying to scare people into backing him by threatening them with the possibility of a Kamala candidacy, since she was seen as such a trash candidate. Newsom is probably the preferred candidate; he makes a good show of fighting Trump, but doesn’t do any crazy leftist stuff like treating homeless or trans people as human beings. That’s what the DNC wants.

Honestly, this seems like a no-brainer. Having Pentagon press access means you get to break stories sooner, but if your only reporting what the Pentagon gives you, you’re basically just getting press releases a little earlier. That’s not worth giving up you’re ability to get an exclusive story from a leak, and there’s always someone who wants to leak something. Oh yeah, for sure. Everything DOGE did was a farce, and it almost certainly lost more money than it saved. Even en if it didn’t, they blew any savings up on their first budget legislation. I just find it particularly hypocritical to cut $40 billion in global aid because, “we don’t have the money,” then turn around and spend $40 billion on global aid to a single country

$40 billion was the entire annual budget of USAID. No matter what you think of them, they did provided essential aid to dozens of nations, and DOGE destroyed them under the pretense of lowering the deficit. Now we’re spending that much money just to prop up one countries economy.

(Yes, I know they USAID is a soft-power tool of American imperialism, and is rumored to have been used as cover for CIA operations, but they also did a shit-load of global AIDs prevention work, and I’d rather have spent the $40 billion on that than bailing out a libertarian freak so Rob Citrone can get rich.)
