Let me tell you that many people around the US and the world are not laughing off the current administration’s stupidity because the death toll continues to rise, and lives continue to be shattered, both in general and specifically to FEMA.

Now that you mention it, we can be certain that they have done so, and will continue to do so.

The funny thing about this is that Patel has undermined any loyalty he might have had in the past. When people order you to take polygraphs, even if you pass the polygraph, you just learned that your boss is an incredibly untrustworthy fuckface. After all, they should have been working for the same mission that you’re working for, but now they are quite clearly acting only for their own selfish ends. If something goes wrong, will they have your back? It’s guaranteed that they won’t.
Another way of saying it is that ordering polygraph tests is itself a test. He failed.
Well trained human.
No. 90% were not scared. It was the corporate media that hyped up every single flimsy lead. The rest of us knew that we would be perfectly fine.

So … You’re admitting that he was good enough that they had to cheat to keep him out, but not good enough to … to win?

I’m not convinced it’s as complex as people pretend it is, largely because the number of clearly dominant trans athletes are so low. Maybe we haven’t seen a problem already because there simply isn’t a problem, even if you could theoretically tell a story that sounds somehow “unfair” depending on your storytelling skills.
Just $11? Just? If you need that money, then it’s a lot of money to you. But capitalists always use double speak. They could have said that the company was trying to stiff him over a mere $111, which would have been 0.000001% of the company’s operating costs.

That depends who and how often, as history has shown time and time again.
I don’t advocate murder, but saying it’s never effective is arguing with reality.

Please? Please diagnose with it? I will frame that shit, put it on the wall forever.

This might also flop in court. When the feds don’t regulate a thing, often they cannot stop the states from doing so. But details matter.

He knew that DOGE was a joke from the start. Everyone did. You know how we know? His complete lack of research. Anyone, even an elementary school student, would ask how something works before taking a hammer to it… But only if they cared to get it right, right? And look at what DOGE didn’t touch. Military waste, dirty cops, etc.

He’s not gone, though. They lie constantly, and of course about this.

Yes of course it is a giant scam. That was the entire point. But it’s not just one person. The military industrial complex has many moving parts.
What’s an “actual” expense, anyway. Money is being spent on things and services. It’s probably not being burned in a campfire.

Talking about the book is really a waste of time. Read it or don’t, but discussing the context of the book is boring.
That is my opinion. Of course people may disagree, sok.
If you always do, then that means it’s normal, by definition.

The funny thing is that if AI coding were that good, we would already see widespread adoption in open source projects. But we haven’t, because it sucks. Of course commercial software development companies are free to lie about how much they use AI, or get creative with their metrics so they can get their KPI bonuses. So we can’t really believe anything they say. But we can believe in transparency.
As always, there are so many people selling snake oil by saying the word AI without actually telling you what they mean. Quite obviously there are a great many tools that one could call AI that can be and are and have been used to help do a ton of things, with many of those technologies going back decades. That’s different from using ChatGPT to write your project. Whenever you hear someone write about AI and not give clear definitions, there’s a good chance they’re full of s***.

Not only the shareholders. If some of the higher level administration can get richer in the short run, even if that might actually hurt the shareholders in the medium run, you can bet that many of them will do so.

A great number of people have thought of many non-religious reasons. If you look online, you can find them. I’m sure you’ve heard some of them before, and it just slipped your mind momentarily.
Apparently you have not read the Bill of Rights. It applies to all people in the country, not only to citizens. Everyone. Immigrants, you, me, all of us.
This is intentional. If the government could accuse people of being illegal aliens and “accidentally” deport them, it would be a civil rights disaster. This happened by the millions during the Great Depression, and it has also happened in small but real numbers more recently. Remember, the pigs love to lie. Every day, as much as they can. That’s why courts exist.
