Some protesters against the Stuttgart21 project would probably disagree, as well as German courts.
Not to mention all the excessive violence against the anti genocide protests.
*attempted fascist coup
Funny how that works when the antidemocratic leader is broadly in line with US foreign policy CNN choses their words very carefully.
That or reading public statements from politicians, military officials and other public figures.
And observing the actions of Israel, what other intent can denying food and blowing up all hospitals have than extermination.
I’m not in favor of gunboat diplomacy, but if the US is doing it anyway (to enable genocide) I would rather have them do something useful with it.
And using a military to enforce policy does not equal conquering the world, it’s at the end of the escalation ladder, diplomatic pressure then sanctions, embargoes, support regime change, militarily blockades, limiting military operations, and finally full on invasion. These are all things the US is already doing but then for nefarious reasons.
Here is an idea, how about the US uses its military to enforce a minimum wealth tax worldwide to end tax competition, instead of to enable its proxies to commit war crimes.
A party is indeed the time and place where no jokes are made ever, no alcohol is involved, no cheesy flirting techniques occur, and everything is meant a 100% seriously always.
The real crime being committed here. Normal country.
Being gay or trans is not dependent on being out or not.
And focusing on the LGBTQ aspect of Israels current onslaught is relevant to the extent that Israel actively propagandizes “spreading” gay rights in Gaza, while at the same time murdering LGBTQ individuals indiscriminately. The fact that pink washing is a strategy used to justify genocide makes it that much more important to reject this during pride.
Macron would probably sooner dissolve the republic and declare the third empire than allow this to happen, but I wish the NPF good luck.
As Macron likes to say: “Souverän ist, wer über den Ausnahmezustand entscheidet”
Unlike congress, the senate, hell at this point even the presidency.
Interesting how France suddenly switched to a much more normal and acceptable stance on Palestine (including the statements in Egypt against a proposed ethnic cleansing), wonder what the catalyst was.
Also curious if Germany manages to keep their „saying Palestinians are humans equals antisemitism“ thing going, with even France moving closer to Spain, Ireland and Swedens standpoint. But I have little hope with Merz.
