Interesting.
In the UK, I can purchase this easily for 6x pippetes for £27.49 ~= €30.79 = €5.17/month/cat, or €82.67 for 16 cats.
A Dutch website suggests the RRP for 6 pippetes is around €39. You should shop around a bit, or reach out to different vets.
It’s 240€ a month for flea and tick treatment for the 16
€15/month/cat on flea and tick? That seems expensive?
I knew someone who didn’t see the point of wearing any, yet they had a noticeable “funk”. Turned out they’re anosmic.

World News@lemmy.world•Europe's largest Mormon temple in Preston to expandEnglish
1·2 months agoThe article in question points out this is more a center for international things, so one can assume that this is funded by the American branch.
Unfortunately the UK Census doesn’t split the major religions into its various sects, so it’s not that easy to judge how many Mormons are in the UK, the last number I can see is around 140,000. Which isn’t really a lot.
There’s an interesting piece on the BBC about this training centre in Preston: https://www.bbc.co.uk/news/uk-64790111

9·2 months agothe play would be increasing US authority in South America either preemptively or as a direct response to eastern influences like Russia and China.
Maybe, if there was a smart big thought in that brain. This will be simpler, as they will just build a building or two, a tower and hotel or something with his name on it. In exchange for $40 bil of other people’s money. He doesn’t care about strategy or geopolitics, this guy is 100% about the corruption and the personal benefit, the quid pro quo, he’s the mob president.
Would you say you were… out of the loops? 🌞 😎
she’s not as crazy as him
Reading her wiki page, I can’t find much to differentiate the two 🤷♂️

World News@lemmy.world•Dutch government takes control of Chinese-owned chipmaker Nexperia in 'highly exceptional' moveEnglish
29·2 months agoIt’s a bit vague as the government didn’t publish all details.
AFAICT the principle of this law is that the minister/department involved can override company decisions and issue instructions to those who work for the company in order to ensure customer orders are fulfilled. No actual ownership has changed as such, though this could be a precursor to that, but even though Wingtech still owns Nexperia, it has to obey the government edicts over those of Wingtech.
