Fediverse@lemmy.world•What is your favorite app for Lemmy? Include Platform.English
2·11 months agoSame. The dev is very active and open to suggestions. I’ve been using it for a couple of months now and it’s working great.
KeepassXC is great, but I realised very late in the process of setting it up, that the browser extension does not support Flatpak based browsers: “Please note that in general Flatpak and Snap based browsers are not supported, Ubuntu’s Firefox Snap being an exception.” (https://github.com/keepassxreboot/keepassxc-browser/wiki/Troubleshooting-guide)
I hope this might change at some point.

Asklemmy@lemmy.ml•Which video game did you bounce off of at first, but then tried again later for it to become one of your favorites of all time?
4·2 years agoSame for me. But then a friend played like an hour together with me, showed me the ropes and I haven’t stopped playing since. Not all the time, but like one playthrough a month or so.

Asklemmy@lemmy.ml•GAMERS, USING ONLY CAPITAL LETTERS, WHAT'S YOUR FAVORITE VIDEO GAME QUOTE? SCREAM IT INTO THE VOID.
1·2 years agoI had the same experience. Just can’t get back in.

Asklemmy@lemmy.ml•As badly described as possible, what is your favorite video game?
5·2 years agoYou touch something you shouldn’t have, then nobody would ever believe what you’ve seen, but you keep trying to convince every species in the galaxy.

Asklemmy@lemmy.ml•As badly described as possible, what is your favorite video game?
1·2 years agoAfter then first sentence I thought: Subnautica! But the rest didn’t fit.
Yes and yes. My favourites too.
Well, it all comes down to tastes and preferences, but Linux Mint is made to be a very easy transition for (ex-)Windows users. It works out of the box, looks intuitive and has great support on their forums. Give it a try and if you feel like you want to try out other distros later, it all gets easier once you are familiar with Linux overall.
And yes, what you mean is dual booting and Mint asks you on install if you want to choose that option and sets everything up for you.

Asklemmy@lemmy.ml•People that don't have TV in their house, what the hell do you do with your free time?
1·3 years agoDon’t have TV for almost 20 years now, don’t miss it a bit. There’s only crap on TV, nothing I wanna waste my time on, and adverts all over the place. Who wants that?

Asklemmy@lemmy.ml•for the Reddit refugees, do you also feel a bit heartbroken?
1·3 years agoExactly! And without being called names for asking questions or interacting with people.

Agreed. Also wondering what companies are employing people that long? In other European countries, companies wont hire people 50+ cause they are deemed too old, inflexible and expensive. I really wonder, if companies in Denmark are different in that regard.
