Teleportation!

I’m not a native speaker but in Sweden we do learn it from a very young age. We don’t dub anything, we watch shows and movies in English with Swedish subtitles. English is also mandatory from 3rd grade up until you finish college. Now, combine that with social media.
I don’t consider myself a native speaker but I am extremely proficient.

What would you say is not so good about the matchmaking system?

League of Legends
Hey. If I name all pick up/drop off stations the same, will the train go to the first one that becomes available, or how does it pick its target station?
I have moved away from Google Contacts and Google Calendar and am now using Synology Calendar/Contacts. I’ve left Google Drive for Synology Drive and I’ve left Google Photos for Synology Photos. Everything is self hosted and self maintained.

Recycling. In Sweden we recycle so much that we have to buy trash from other countries!

So why does overpopulation/underpopulation exist?
If you Instantly respawn as you die would that not mean there’s a finite amount of people on the planet?
Otherwise new people can’t exist without someone else dying.
With your logic the ratio is 1:1.
In reality the ratio is higher or lower which determines over/underpopulation.
That’s how I see it.

My bad I think. Looks like some parts of the Synology Nas is open source but not DSM directly.

Gotta be my Synology NAS. Although the hardware isn’t free. The software is open source.
I moved always from every cloud storage provider to my own private cloud instead! Could not be happier!
My wife loves it too!
Edit: Sorry! Looks like some parts of the Nas is open. Not DSM itself.

What? This is some stone age mentality to have. Glad you’re not my neighbour.

I came to mention them. Quite baffled no one thought of them. Incredible band!

Cheese Slicer. The most common kitchen tool in any Swedish home!

I don’t use any social media. I give my phone number to family members. They can call/text if they want to reach me.
I’m sort of the same as you.
I took a 6 bootcamp, got a job straight away after as a full stack junior web developer.
Programming as a job was the single worst decision I make. I was working with languages and frameworks I don’t enjoy, I was building a product I don’t care about in the slightest.
It took me 1 year of full time web dev before I quit and went back to regular IT which isn’t the most fun thing, but it works for me. I’ve been doing it for over a decade so I can do it in my sleep, it’s easy money tbh. Programming for me is definitely more of a hobby than a job. Having it as a job really killed my love for it
Nowadays I only code in Python which I LOVE. I use my programming skills to automate work tasks, and I make small scripts here and there and it’s so much fun.
Solving small problems with scripts is just what I enjoy doing. I get to work on a project for a day or two. I can complete it fast then move on to something else.
Now I’m about transitioning into Data Engineering instead of Software Development.
Never forget the YouTube rewind video they produced themselves which beacme the most disliked video ever! Lol

Sounds like we have the same wife! High five
Lemmy has potential, sadly paid software will always be the king in the consumer space. Marketing plays a big roll too. I don’t see lemmy being bigger than Reddit sadly.
Hi! I really enjoy the THM service: https://tryhackme.com/module/networking They have a bunch of different modules to study. They do cater more to Cyber Security, but Networking is definitely included there!
