        Cook as if feeding an army. Freeze extra servings if you can. Saves me a lot of time both in cooking and the cleaning.

        Yes, but depending on what you buy. If you stay regional, seasonal and somewhat on the boring side, veggies are incredibly cheap. Get a sack of potatoes, onions and carrots and you have a lot you can work with for relatively cheap.

          Not really. I can walk in 85% of the grocery stores in the US and there is a ton of non regional shit for dirt cheap.

          People are just lazy and/or tired and overworked.

            Yes, I think regional has a different meaning in our time. I meant from roughly the continent I’m currently at.

            But even that isn’t necessarily true. I guess I just want to buy regional because I don’t want my vegetables to have traveled further than me just for nothing.
