Ok, so here’s what I think happened.
Someone made a recommendation: Dana W. White. She is a communications exec and has worked for Fox News, the Heritage Foundation and the WSJ. So, it would actually make sense, right? But of course, Trump likely has no idea that she even exists and automatically loves the idea of having a strong UFC celebrity as Press Secretary. Obviously he runs his mouth before anyone can stop him and here we are…
And now that he’s made a complete ass out of himself, nobody is going to correct him and say “OH MY FUCKING GOD, YOU ASKED THE WRONG PERSON, YOU RIDICULOUS FUCKING TURD.” So doubling down it is, it’s their usual MO.
So yeah, basically the personnel-equivalent of the Four Seasons Landscaping fiasco. :D
I remember a long ago time, when I didn’t feel the need to check if every Presidential announcement was real or a joke.
I also remember a time when the joke pronouncements were funnier than the real ones.
I triple checked the URL to make sure it really was a news source and not some new TheOnion link. I am surprised and I am shocked that this guy can still surprise me. Everytime this dipshit does something crazy I think, “it can’t really get worse than this” and yet, after all these years, he still manages to fuck things up in a way that no one else has ever thought of.

So weird to have the president publicly begging someone to take a job in the administration. He looks weak and desperate. If they turn it down, ots another nail in the coffin. Lose lose.
