People will go to extraordinary ends to justify their habits, it seems. I find it curious that people convince themselves that other creatures don’t process pain like humans do. Then, once it is evident that they do, the efforts to find other ways to still kill and eat them will commence. Versus you know, maybe not killing and eating them?
