This. Your mail isn’t going to be opened by the CEO. Hurt the business, not the worker. Mail them a box of rocks or something, the company will pay postage on it and the minimum wage guy opening packages will laugh.
I see !dadjokes@lemmy.world is leaking again.
I do, because between every online service being hammered by scrapers training AI and every online service being stuffed full of AI slop, it’s ruining the internet.
Pfft, he’s just some guy distracting people from what’s important: rich people are making slightly less money! Sound the alarm!
But then you can’t inflate the numbers by putting a 3.7 volt battery in a power bank, listing the capacity in amp-hours and implying that you get that many amp-hours at the power bank’s 5V output voltage.
A lot of writers apparently have no idea how to write interesting female characters. Some of the pushback from viewers / readers to increasing the number of female characters isn’t about the characters being female, it’s about them being bad characters. Boring, annoying, quippy, etc.
Nobody wants to admit that their movie flopped because it wasn’t very good, so they blame sexism. Or piracy, that one’s always popular.
Yeah… One of my great great grandmothers, nobody was ever allowed to know how old she was while she was alive. It was this weird mystery.
Turns out if you knew her age you could easily count backwards and work out that when she got married she was 13 years old and about four months pregnant.
This image from further down the page is funnier here.
Lavrov accused the West of using truces to re-arm Ukraine and called for agreements preventing future violations.
Russia wants time to rearm, but doesn’t want the people they’re attacking doing the same thing.
But seriously, having a sense of taste for the interior of one’s home does not make a person gay— it means you’re an adult with good taste. It does, however, run the risk of classifying you as “fabulous.”
“I’ve had loads of gay experiences. I’ve seen a pair of shoes and said, I have to have them! I’ve described a cake as ‘to die for’. But I’ve never had the gay experience of having another man’s cock in my mouth and/or bum. And I think that really is the one that counts.”
- Jimmy Carr (as close as I can remember it)
Russia’s actual nuclear policy has been “fire nukes if Putin says so” for decades. This paperwork doesn’t represent a real change.
No, it’s the opposite - they’re saying that this isn’t a change in Russia’s behaviour.
IPv6 has privacy addresses, though. Stuff on my network generates a new random address every day and uses that address for outgoing connections, so you can’t really track individual devices inside my network.
IPv6 has a policy of throwing more address space at stuff to make routing simpler, though.
IPv4 will individually route tiny slices of address space all over the world, IPv6 just assigns a massive chunk of space in the first place and calls it a day.
Definitely a very stable genius.
I’d argue it was more tedious than challenging, running rows and rows of parallel underground pipes.
Because grabbing a random prefix from the pool is easier than remembering which prefix is assigned to which subscriber account and keeping it static through ISP network changes.
My ISP does ‘sticky’ prefixes, which means they change when they move users between BNGs but otherwise don’t.
They could always tax the rich, but sure, let’s pretend that the only possible option is the one that helps Russia.
There’s a reason why that government is polling so low that it may not even be the opposition in two weeks.
