The levels of delusion within the Western world are reaching new heights as mainstream media begins to acknowledge the truth behind the situation at hand. It’s truly a comical spectacle, with laughter being the only appropriate response. 😂

☆ Yσɠƚԋσʂ ☆@lemmygrad.mlOPto World News@lemmy.ml•Iraq condemns violation of sovereignty by US, warns of repercussions208·1 year agoI really think we’re entering an inflection point where there is sufficient critical mass that makes it possible for countries to band together and resist the empire. And the war in Ukraine has been the catalyst for this. The west ended up being sucked into a conflict on a scale it simply wasn’t prepared for. A huge chunk of the existing western military assets ended up being committed to Ukraine which necessarily weakened western grip on the west of the world. Meanwhile, the economic war on Russia resulted in the creation of a whole new economy that’s operating outside western control. BRICS is now a bigger economic bloc than the entire G7, and this trend will only accelerate now.
I recommend reading what people who actually have a clue have to say on the subject https://www.russiamatters.org/analysis/whats-ahead-war-ukraine
It’s a war of attrition that Ukraine is losing because they have a much smaller population to draw on and rely on weapons from the west. Ukraine is already conscripting children, women, and the elderly now. It’s absurd to think that such conscripts are going to be able to hold off a seasoned professional army for long.

Liberals have been making great strides in convincing the feeble minded that there’s any reconciliation happening.
A far cry from how Qatar treats regular people. But keep trying.

Initial stages still require coal to produce power to build out the infrastructure. A study in the second link found that China’s use of coal is perfectly in line with the plan in the first link.
