We talk about it all the time - including with my Chief. ~60% of the officers I speak to also believe that the administration is conducting unlawful actions, and about 70% believe the administration is engaging in actions harmful to the socioeconomic and geopolitical standing of the USA. >80% of the enlisted personnel in other divisions at my command likewise agree that the administration is making stupid and indefensible decisions, and all of them would outright defy any order to “kill half the population”.

That’s my experience at least, at my previous commands and my current command. It might differ by service and command, of course, but multiple service members I’ve spoken to from other branches seem to agree with me; again, this is all anecdotal, so take my word with a grain of salt.

Oh I fucking hope they try. I wonder how they’re gonna do anything when half their enlisted are on the “domestic terrorist” list? Not just junior enlisted, but NCOs? Officers, too. JOs, upper brass. Who’s gonna maintain the carriers? Navigate the submarines? Maintain the jets? Transport the ammo?

Currently active duty US Navy, enlisted, contract ends next year (if they let it end). I don’t think upper brass understands the level of shenanigans we will get up to and they will never know about. Or the level we already get to on the regular, including on nuclear weapons platforms and carrier strike groups. The amount of gundecking right now is already “I can’t believe this thing still floats” levels. I’d love to see what it looks like when every sailor’s a disgruntled insider threat.

Time to bring back the age old tradition of fragging. Also sandbagging, blazing maintenance and logs, blazing quals, sleeping on post, making up inventories and malingering.
