This is my approach too. I use Moode Audio on a Pi at home, linked to my mini server. Same server syncs (with Syncthing) all of my music to my phone’s SD card. I have Jellyfin on the server too and my music library is available there, but I just use that for video.

Added Service Model to my wishlist, thanks for the tip!
Absolutely loved Children of Time, really liked Children of Ruin, was very disappointed with Children of Memory. And that carried into Alien Clay, which was a real slog for me to get through, and burnt through the considerable credit he had in the bank from Children of Time. It started off ok. Reminded me of something else I read a long time ago, but I can’t pin it down. I might go back to something before Children of Time when I have the energy to give him another chance, but I have a decent reading pile waiting for me for now.
Thanks, will give that a good read!
Thanks. If I access the client from another device, it’ll still just stream to that device though, won’t it? The same as using the Jellyfin web gui. I tried the Jellyfin-vue client, and that’s what it did.
I’m trying to keep everything in containers, but I could install something bare-metal (Linux), as long as I can access it on the home network (or have Jellyfin cast to it).

Yes, especially the first book, thought that was excellent. Less so for me the third one, and I haven’t read the fourth one yet.
