So 3 years of malnutrition is not cruel?

the country was treated generously for fear of it going to the other side
In Germany the shortage of food was an acute problem. […] the average kilocalorie intake per day was estimated to be 1,080, […] millions of people are slowly starving.
Germany received many offers from Western European nations to trade food for desperately needed coal and steel. […]. Denmark offered 150 tons of lard a month; Turkey offered hazelnuts; Norway offered fish and fish oil; Sweden offered considerable amounts of fats. However, the Allies disallowed the Germans to trade.
So “generous” is a bit relative here. Germany was not subject to the most extreme plans for de-industrialisation, which some had planned. But at the same time there was definitely planned hardship, which had no reasonable explanation based on security.
those missiles are almost certainly intended for ground launch.
On the short term: maybe
On the long term: makes absolutely no difference. Some of the soot from those fires might actually settle in the soil and stay there for 100 - 1000 years, which is probably the least harmful way petro chems could be converted. The portion that would have been converted to plastics and rubber might be a grey zone, but not a large one, since a large portion of that is burned at the end of its useful life.

How many PSUs are installed in the Poweredge server? In the manual it says it could be 1 or 2 and the power per PSU could be 1100W so if it is 2 * 1100W then that could explain why the UPS has problems with it.
Also very often overlooked: the Amazonas as we know it today is NOT wild in any way. It is a cultural landscape that started around the time when humans settled that area but not later than 11tya
[…] large portions of the Amazon rainforest are probably the result of centuries of human management, rather than naturally occurring as has previously been supposed. https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Amazon_rainforest#cite_ref-24
a surrender condition that lets Russia retain all the land they’ve taken
A while ago there was a prediction about the true intentions of the russia negotiating: they want to stop Ukraine from succeeding as a state, since that would be a bad omen for a neighbouring kleptocracy.
If this prediction comes true the outcome you describe is actually very unlikely, because the russia would rather continue fighting just to keep the region in shambles.
NetworkManager’s Gnome GUI works with wireguard config files. If you are using Plasma you would need to install some alpha software to do that in the gui but you can always fall back to nmcli which also supports wireguard configs via the import command.
Can we set up dial-up servers for this occasion, like during the arab spring protests? Assuming there are still classical modems in Belarus.
It is low tech, but it is quite hard to block without blocking all telephone connections as well.
Most likely launcher would be Gripen. So this kinda depends on Sweden more than on Germany. Though the signals i saw coming from Sweden are that they would be willing to give Ukraine what they need, including fighter jets, provided that NATO takes up the slack in air defence in Sweden.
That is not only not right; it is not even wrong
Trying to remember what i learned in history here, i hope i get at least most of it right:
Do you know how many parties had members in the parliament of the Weimar Republic when Hitler was named Chancellor?
I learned in school – not sure if this part is entirely accurate but its an interesting idea anyway – that this situation was precisely why there is a ~5% of votes, lower barrier for parties sending representatives in many modern European democracies.

basically since around the 1960s bombers dont need to “drop” bombs anymore. They only designate the target and the FCS drops the bombs.
So what do you think when you work with HeLas?
centigrade
and he was doing so well until this abomination 😡
yeah, but thats not really saying that it isnt cruel.
