Just that one poster.

I don’t know if that was the only possibility.
But yes, Kamala was to the right of Nixon. And cranked the ratchet effect hard during her run.
The fracking, Gaza, and ties to Uber was especially disgusting imo.
I wouldn’t be surprised if in that timeline a more competent fascist took 2028.

Yeah, she also was going on about fracking.
Campaign was like “see, I’m left of Trump and he’s literally the devil. Never mind that I’m to the right of Nixon myself. Blue no matter who! Shame on you for not bothering to vote.”
I dislike Trump. I mean he’s evil and is trying to erase me.
But I hate Kamala. Because betrayal cuts deeper.

What’s the compromise with the neighbors across the street that voted to put half their neighbors in concentration camps and outlaw abortion?
Do we throw brown folks under the bus? Women? Transfolks like myself?
Which out group do we let them hurt in the name of compromise?

Sis, and me too. Which is why I voted for the shit sandwich.

Okay so it wasn’t a promise, it was a leak from several of his aides that was probably calculated in order to help folks feel more comfortable electing somebody that’s 77.
The fact that he spoke out of both sides of his mouth, one being the mouth of several of his aides, doesn’t change my feelings about the man.

Sure.
But once someone votes to put me in a concentration camp they are no longer acting like my friend.
So regardless of their feelings, the friendship is dead.

By accommodations are you referring to the concentration camps?
Oh you meant the poll, which is just their point of view of themselves, it’s obviously not reality.

Struggle sessions are one thing.
Inviting the neighbor over, who voted to take away my healthcare and put me in a concentration camp, is another.
I’m for forgiveness and second chances. But I don’t call fascist sympathizers friend.
So no, I don’t hang out with folks who voted for Trump. Not without them admitting they fucked up first.
A Rebulican that voted for Harris I’d be far more tolerant of, if such unicorns exist.

Taking campaign advice from her brother in law, the CLO of Uber, who is a big part of the gig economy which destroys workers rights, was also a huge red flag.
I still voted for her, but it was like choosing a shit sandwich over Hitler. I didn’t exactly want either one.

He not only robbed us of a primary, he broke his one term promise.
And in doing so, shoved an uncharismatic center right candidate down our throats, whose only redeeming quality was not Trump.
Is that what democracy looks like?

Protesting every day might be less effective without economic disruption going with it.
That’s just the nature of the news cycle, we’ve had over one mass shooting a day this year and it’s not as much news as 10 years ago when they were much less frequent.
If it’s always happening, it isn’t news.
All of that said, there’s other ways to protest that don’t need to be news. Like out front of ice buildings. When you see ice harassing folks, disrupting them, recording them etc.

It’s a little more nuanced.
Violent resistance tends to swap one regime for another.
Non-violent resistance tends to create more positive social change.
If the only goal is to get rid of Trump, either one can work. If the goal is to have a brighter future then a revolution with minimal violence is preferable.

The opening part is important. A pattern of disregard for the rights of others.
Most folks will exhibit some of these traits sometimes. We might get defensive and overstep. Feel remorse and make ammends.
If you look at your life and think everyone but you is the problem, rather than understanding that sometimes I am the problem and can work on things from my end, than yeah, that’s ASPD.
But the fact that you’re capable of reflecting and asking suggests that you don’t have ASPD. Some traits, sometimes. Like most folks.

I didn’t know that, I’ll have to find the interview and listen this morning.

A far right Venezuelan woman.
Peace prize is a joke.

This far right nepo baby doesn’t look like Greta at all.
And the other 40% sell mushrooms and make no money either way.
