can we talk real numbers please.
tbh: just to decrease my chance from dying to colon cancer from 1:75000 to 1:85000 I won’t let someone rummage around in my guts. fuck off! an decrease of 50% is still ignorable if only 1 in 100.000 gets it.
I am a big believer that so many shit that gets tested regularly for is doing more harm then it helps…
do you wear a helmet while jogging because there might be a way to fall where you could die without one?
why are brains so similar? This was my first thought and sure enough, comment #2

Everyone has at least one most of the time two or more email addresses. From work, some from Gmail and / or Microsoft. everyone understands that sending email to other providers will work regardless.
Why is it so hard to apply the same concept to Lemmy?

4·3 months agofunny thing is: almost everyone is inventing their own rules when playing monopoly. a proper round with the correct rules takes 30-60 mins tops.
underrated comment of the day!

His point is that even if it may cause harm for people reading it, lecturing people about it may cause more harm because people might start resenting mentally disabled people because of it.
If you call a person with right leaning opinions a nazi, you may have pushed him more into being a nazi.
your virtue signaling is not helping is what he is trying to say IMHO
