I like this idea. What do you use to find open jobs? Just going on Indeed?

Yeah in Canada. I have been wondering if I should apply in other cities as well to improve my chances
The Office when Michael moved away. It was never the same after that.
Forget her feelings. Make it clear there is no relationship. Otherwise they will hold onto hope and could try to undermine your marriage.
You can’t prioritze other people’s feelings. Almost always others wont prioritze yours.
I had this recently. My parents wanted me to make a full hour round trip drive across town to pick them up in the middle of the night so they could save $50 on a taxi. I said, “No,” as I have kids to look after now, and my mom launched into how I’m not family first anymore and after all the things she did for me as a kid, she can’t depend on me to pick her up.
I stuck to my guns though. They conned my brother with the same story, but I set a boundary.
Lol, no. I don’t drink at all anymore considering how bad it is for your health, but having a drink before returning to work seems like an insanely bad idea.
So I checked the config for the external drive again and discovered when it was remounted it had added a, “1” to the end of the drive name. I went back into the .env and changed the library location to reflect this. Restarted docker and it is now connecting again. Obviously it is not ideal to be using a external HDD, but I wanted to test immich out for a while before investing into a bigger self hosting rig for all my services.
Ultimately problem solved though
Drive was just connected with USB to mini PC so it was also unplugged and I had to remount it to the PC. I looked in the .env file and the path still looked good. I had considered this was an issue too. I figured that restarting docker with the drive properly mounted would fix this though. Still getting, “connection was reset,” though
7 Digital is a great site to buy music files legally. I use that mainly. Personally I would not buy 500 songs at once, but basically I buy my favs and slowly add songs I really like over time. Innertune is great in the meantime to listen to what you want to without paying a subscription
Now this is exactly what I was looking for. Thank you very much!
When I was a kid I remember my grandparents would just put $50-$100 in a card and call it a day. I loved the gift of just money because the possibilities of what I could buy myself were endless. It made more sense for my grandparents too as they had no idea what kids my age wanted anyway and I would’ve likely been disappointed if they tried to buy me what they thought I wanted.
For whatever reason now though, it’s seen as lazy or uncaring if you just gift money. I would argue that this is some bs corporations have created to get us to feel obligated to buy an actual item. In my mind though, money is the best gift.
On a related note, my parents bought us a $100 giftcard one year and when we went to us it we discovered that there was a slip of paper covering the barcode. That slip of paper had a photocopy of another barcode on it, so when my parents put money on the card, it actually went on a different card. Pretty common scam we found out. When we called the stores help line, they said they could not help us. So yeah fuck giftcards. The companies themselves won’t even take steps to ensure they are secure. As long as they still got their money, they don’t care if scammers got to use the giftcard instead.
I try to just do stuff I enjoy. I’m a football guy so Sunday is a great day for me this time of year. If I’m not doing that though, I’m spending time with my wife and daughter or tinkering with things that interest me like emulation.
Overall I make it my day and try not to worry about what is happening tomorrow. I will say the thing that really puts it into perspective for me is that I left a job earlier in the year that was unhealthy. I was working overnights and weekends. Sometimes I was only home 8 hours before I had to go back. I decided it was controlling too much of my life and I moved back to a regular Mon-Fri job. I’m so happy to have a regular schedule again and weekends to myself. I do my best to appreciate the time I have now.
American Dad. It’s Family Guy made way better. The episodes are so original and creative. The first 7 seasons are all gold.
I have also put on a little more weight and lift weights consistently. I would say that its mainly do to having a home gym and not having cardio equipment at the moment. I have been more lean in the past, but I was thinking about how I feel good right now with a little more weight. I think I’m at a better natural weight for my body. While I might like when I am more lean, I am still strong with all the weight lifting, and I’m not putting the same stress on my joints from running. Feels good
What I find interesting is how many people will be on there clearly sick and not wearing a mask or trying to distance themselves from others. Just selfish people who don’t care who they infect.
It doesn’t take much to run home assistant. I just have a raspberry pi going and it never fails. I plan to upgrade it to something more powerful in the future, but for now it is more than capable of running home assistant for me with no issues.
Not me obviously, but you should look up the accident Adam Devine had as a kid. Pretty serious, but it is hilarious how he talks about it. His leg is so crazy knarley
