If I’m on my computer, I use Push Bullet. It sends the link directly to my phone but I can also go back to the Push Bullet app anytime and find it. If I’m on my phone, I just keep that tab open on Chrome until I read it.

I just cut up an old VGA cable to make some of these tonight. Surprisingly not that hard to take apart. I’ll need to use my dremel to cut the screws off of their little blue thumb grips so I can glue them on.

When I was younger, I had really only experienced console games and maybe a few basic PC games at school. My uncle showed my this FPS game on his computer called Redneck Rampage. Basically you’re running around farms trying to kill aliens. I don’t really remember playing very many FPS game before that and it opened up a whole new world for me. But the really crazy part was how “adult” the game was. You could drink beer in the game and your character would get drunk. I also remember some graffiti in the game of a naked woman with huge tits. At the time I could not believe something like that would be allowed in a video game! Blew my mind.

They’re in quite a pickle. Half of them don’t want Trump, the other half will only vote for Trump (even if he’s in prison). MAGA is tearing the party apart and the house speaker situation is just the latest manifestation of that.

In a normal world it would be incredibly stupid. In the reality that we’re living in, insulting military members, even wounded veterans can appeal to a certain crowd. Even ironically if some of the people in the crowd are military members or wounded veterans. The number one rule when you’re in a cult, is that the cult leader is always right.

My phone (Pixel 7) does not have one. On occasion I use a pair of wired USB-C headphones but only for media. I do not use headphones for calls. Bluetooth in the car for calls and YouTube Music.

I’m just being a realist. I voted for the guy but I feel like he’s too old for another term. Trump has no cognitive ability. He operates stickily on nearsighted emotional reaction with no capability to comprehend the consequences for his words or actions.

I think it would guarantee a DNC win for this and maybe the next election cycle. But I would bet that after awhile a 3 party system would spread the electorate out a little more. Maybe like a more left leaning DNC, a more moderate middle of the road party and a further right leaning 3rd party. I personally would like more options. Then again, that might make it easier for the far right to gain power. I don’t know… I’m certainly not an expert when it comes to this stuff. Just thinking out loud.

They see it as a war because they are finding themselves (and their ideals) in the minority and feel their voice is being taken away. I’ve heard those sentiments directly from their mouths. From my perspective, the problem is that instead of rallying being some other GOP candidate, they’ve decided to back the one who used possible criminal tactics like fake electors to ignore the peoples votes and remain in power. Something that in my opinion should amount to treason. We’re finding ourselves in a shitty situation now. Stuck between a nice old man who’s cognitive ability is fading and a man starving for authoritarian power and willing to take it at all cost. I don’t know what is going to happen, but I’m curious to see if 2020 was the beginning of the full collapse of the Republican party and what will rise in it’s ashes. A 3 party system?
