Graveyards are a disgusting waste of space. Their existence communicates to society that many dead people are more entitled to space on this Earth than some living people will ever have.

They call 13 year old girls “young women,” so it stands to reason that they’re talking about getting teenage boys into the workforce for minimum wage here, yeah.
Shit, you’re right. We can’t have that. Can’t wait to watch read about Josh Hawley breaking Booker’s new record with a speech about how freedom of religion is discriminatory against christians and only christians.
I’m not sure if this helps, but I use uBlock Origin and Privacy Badger in Firefox and can read it.
Back-office college financial aid at a larger state college. Financial aid mostly disburses by batch process, so my job is to audit that. Some things, like external scholarships, are manual and require a quick reassessment of the financial aid package to ensure the student is still eligible for everything (if anything, loans need reduced sometimes per regulations). Some things require “professional judgement,” like when a student is not yet 24 but claims to be independent due to unusual circumstances. There’s more, but it’s really just an accumulation of batch work, queues, and audits which require a reasonably good working knowledge of regulations.
I still have it but only follow niche and local subs for which there isn’t enough engagement here yet.
Their business is more important than integrity, and they’ve seen that the president will attack anyone who tries to get in his way.
Cars with oil filters like that always roll in when you’re not busy, so they don’t get to cool in the lot, and you get to watch your skin melt when you accidentally touch metal. Good times.
Yeah I was gonna say let me cross over real quick. I’m American, so I’ll bring my own guns as long as you can provide some healthcare.
They’re just going to need more people in general, so they can let us die sooner and replenish the workforce.
The number of people still mad at Biden…
I work in a college financial aid office, an one of my responsibilities is outreach to former students whose loans are in delinquent or default status. This is the only part of my job that makes me want to quit, but that’s besides the point.
The number of people who rant about Biden forgiving random people’s loans but not theirs, or forgiving student loans of celebrities and athletes (that’s apparently a talking point for these people?) is staggering.
I like to remind them that 1) Biden did try to offer sweeping forgiveness of 10-20k, but he did not have the authority to do so on his own, so he acted with the authority he had, and 2) now Republicans have full control of the executive and legislative branches, so we can wait to benefit from their plan to help students. I get crickets on that last point.
Yep, these people have “morals,” if you can call them that, that are quite malleable. We’re putting together a team of useful idiots who will be led by the most useful idiot of them all.
Well yeah, and now he’s taking this move from Putin’s playbook for Greenland. He’s at the “people in Greenland would rather be US citizens” stage. Putin did the same thing in the beginning when talking about the territories in Ukraine he wanted to take.
I realize they’re not really for the dead, but the living decide that their dead bodies are entitled to more space than some living. Plots cost thousands of dollars. We ostracize the unhoused. Our priorities are broken, and graveyards are yet another thing for those “with” that those “without” will not have.
