I still don’t understand how those cheap filament dryers work: they fully enclose the spool and heat up the air for a few hours. But where does the moist air go? It’s still trapped in there with the filament. It makes no sense!
I always leave the filament dryer a bit open so the warm air can escape, taking the moisture to a better place (far away from the filament)
But how do you even know about his Hot wheels collection? It’s not like I ask all store clerks for their hobby.

Fehler können ja passieren, aber wenn man den Käufer erst ewig mit (augenscheinlichen) Lügen hinhält, bevor man ganz am Ende die “ich hab mich nur vertippt”-Karte zieht, kann man auch nicht allzu viel Entgegenkommen erwarten.
Kann in dem Beitrag nichts erkennen von wegen “alle Medien sind doof”. Der Autor, den ich bislang als besonnenen Juristen wahrgenommen habe, stört sich an der (von Klick-Geilheit getriebenen) Hexenjagd, die dabei rechtsstaatliche Prinzipien in den Dreck zieht.
Völlig unabhängig davon, wie prominent der (ehemals) Angeklagte ist oder um was für einen Gesetzesverstoß das geht, kann man das meiner Meinung nach schon zurecht kritisieren. Medien haben Verantwortung, nicht nur einzelnen Menschen gegenüber, sondern auch bezüglich des “gefühlten” Rechtsverständnisses der Bevölkerung.

I liked the awards for comments though, as they helped pick out comments from the bottomless pit. Not really a problem on Lemmy yet…
Happy to hear that! I got myself a Vyper about 2 month ago and I’m very happy with it (no modifications, only calibration).
Wasn’t sure if I have low standards or I just got lucky because I don’t feel any need to modify or tune the printer. Only had one failed print and that was because I haven’t cleaned the printing bed at all and it hat literally sunscreen from my hands on it.
I love Prusa for the great software they provide and I’m a big supporter of open source, but the printers always seem to require a bit of maintenance (which is fine if you like to tinker and tune!)

That I am aware of. But without any circulation the hot air will simply cool down and condensate once I turn off the dryer, wouldn’t it? Leaving either highly saturated air or even some water droplets, ready to be absorbed by the filament again
