Nope I don’t have that checked. I also marked all as read and ran a purge manually and it did not delete them.

That would be unfortunate if true. Honestly, if I could I would do away with the “read/unread” concept altogether. Are there really people out there who want to read absolutely everything in their feeds?

In the settings menu I have set the “maximum number of articles to keep” at 25, and yet my feeds have more than 25 articles in them.

This is super helpful, I wonder if Calibre-Web uploads can be handled this way too.

I am in a similar boat. Since you have Tidal might want to look into Tidal-dl to “backup” the things you especially like in high quality.

Tidal is actually not too bad, and it pays artists more than other services (not a lot, just more) but I do expect it to go downhill/away eventually so I make a habit of downloading what I can and supporting the artist directly in other ways.

Not give into cynicism and participate in the democratic process? Democracy isn’t something that you can set and forget, it requires constant attention and participation or it breaks. We are where we’re at because the GOP and big corporations have been carefully engineering widespread burnout in a large percentage of the working class population.

Democracy cannot be permanently “fixed”, it can only be preserved via endless education and participation.

Literally the only way to “fix” democracy is to participate in it.

Obama didn’t even openly support gay marriage. I get that as the first black president he didn’t want to give the GOP anything to call “radical”, but Biden is doing so much progressives have been asking for in the past 30 years, it’s very hard for me to not be excited by that.

We did plan ahead, I’m sorry you don’t like what we planned but you were also fully welcome to participate in the process the entire time.

I don’t think it’s a coincidence that “this line” became normal at the same time the GOP has been enacting antidemocratic legislation and putting forward antidemocratic candidates.
