Minorities by choice are not the point. Nobody chooses to be black, trans, disabled, etc - but people do choose to be exclusionary.

It was not claimed that rationality is overrated.
Not particularly funny but I was doing some research
Oh yeah absolutely.
But every argument against nuclear applies to the crude trio too, and I have heard people saying to specifically keep the status quo over nuclear power…
Existing crude power is worse at most of these
azulavoir@sh.itjust.worksto Asklemmy@lemmy.ml•Why are so many Pro-Palestine (I am pro-Palestine and anti-genocide) Americans refusing to vote for Harris due to her stance on Israel?57·6 months agooh to be clear. I know the democrats are doing terrible things, I just think it’s easier and more practical to get them to stop than it is to keep them out of office.
azulavoir@sh.itjust.worksto Asklemmy@lemmy.ml•Why are so many Pro-Palestine (I am pro-Palestine and anti-genocide) Americans refusing to vote for Harris due to her stance on Israel?21·6 months agoWhile it sometimes feels like this, it’s because the vocal minorities on the side not associated with the current president are always the loudest political figures.
azulavoir@sh.itjust.worksto Asklemmy@lemmy.ml•Why are so many Pro-Palestine (I am pro-Palestine and anti-genocide) Americans refusing to vote for Harris due to her stance on Israel?32·6 months agoFor a single-issue anti-genocide voter, the US is a duopoly of bad choices. For most anyone else, absolutely correct.
azulavoir@sh.itjust.worksto Asklemmy@lemmy.ml•Why are so many Pro-Palestine (I am pro-Palestine and anti-genocide) Americans refusing to vote for Harris due to her stance on Israel?38·6 months agoIn conclusion, there are two terrorist groups fighting, and the civilians of both groups are suffering for it.
azulavoir@sh.itjust.worksto Asklemmy@lemmy.ml•Why are so many Pro-Palestine (I am pro-Palestine and anti-genocide) Americans refusing to vote for Harris due to her stance on Israel?717·6 months agoNot voting blue is voting red in the current system. So how do I not vote for a nazi party?
azulavoir@sh.itjust.worksto Asklemmy@lemmy.ml•Why are so many Pro-Palestine (I am pro-Palestine and anti-genocide) Americans refusing to vote for Harris due to her stance on Israel?413·6 months agoGenocide is a necessary but not sufficient condition for nazism.
azulavoir@sh.itjust.worksto Asklemmy@lemmy.ml•Why are so many Pro-Palestine (I am pro-Palestine and anti-genocide) Americans refusing to vote for Harris due to her stance on Israel?1212·6 months agoEvery vote or lack thereof is a vote for genocide. There isn’t really a way to vote against it.
azulavoir@sh.itjust.worksto Asklemmy@lemmy.ml•Why are so many Pro-Palestine (I am pro-Palestine and anti-genocide) Americans refusing to vote for Harris due to her stance on Israel?1017·6 months agoI’d rather vote for the party that’s 85% nazi than 100%. And in a world where it’s entirely unrealistic that anyone else can win between past-the-post voting and voter disenfranchisement, that’s the best we’re getting.
azulavoir@sh.itjust.worksto Asklemmy@lemmy.ml•[Legal question] It is allowed to use actual video games for training AI that can play them?3·7 months agoOne clear and dry example of this that comes to mind is that Code Bullet got banned from JStris(or some other online tetris server?) because he was botting and not in their dedicated bot queue
My stab in the dark is 8. That feels about right
azulavoir@sh.itjust.worksto Lemmy Shitpost@lemmy.world•Wait a minute, we've been going about this all the wrong way!41·7 months agoIt’s pretty effective when your attacker doesn’t want to harm innocents at any cost, at least. But most organizations going to war don’t care enough.
azulavoir@sh.itjust.worksto Lemmy Shitpost@lemmy.world•Wait a minute, we've been going about this all the wrong way!92·7 months agoIf my goal was to kill exclusively enemy combatants and leave all civilians alone, it would be pretty effective to round them up and gas them, yes. I’d rather do that than indiscriminate fire.
Ultimately irrelevant but true
