Selfhosted@lemmy.world•Do any of you have that one service that just breaks constantly? I'd love to love Nextcloud, but it sure makes that difficult at timesEnglish
6·2 years agoWorks great for me. I had it running in a snap for awhile, but now I just have it in a proxmox Debian container running a LAMP stack. I have over a terabyte of stuff saved and multiple computers syncing too, so its well used.

14·2 years agoIn the US at least, ISPs can force you to use a specific router and software restrict certain functions.
I have AT&T and they do this to me, I just have my own router behind theirs. Might be what OP needs to do.

10·2 years agoYeah, but if you said this was a regurally scheduled drill, the acticle wouldn’t seem as interesting!
The US does this every year too, it is critical to the concept of mutually assured destruction. Both sides have to continually demonstrate the ability to annihilate the other in order to deter each other from actually launching a strike.
UI is still a bit complicated. Plex uses its own implementation called loudness leveling rather than replaygain. I’ve found it to be just as good for the most part.
Probably “Your Microsoft account password needs reset” sadly

441·2 years agoIts really unfortunate. Im working on setting up my own personal instance right now. Im really grateful for all the work Lemmy.world has done, but im just getting tired of not being able to use Lemmy maybe 1/8th of the time I open the app.
Just a +1 for decentralized social media. The fact that I can just set up my own instance when im not 100% happy with the one im currently on is awesome.

The NCR plays a big part in the show. I think that revelation is in episode 7 though.
I agree on the plot being contrived, but I still enjoyed it regardless. That could just be because I’m a huge fallout fan though.
