Well some practical notes, there are at least two states that completely ban private prisons, (New York, Illinois), and many other states restricting them. Also if you want American Federal contracts, you can only house immigrant detainees going forward (thanks to Biden). While not the EU anymore there are also private prisons in the UK if you would like to start closer to home. And also there are public/private partnerships available such as in Alabama where you can work as Sheriff and get to run the jail as seen fit and pocket the difference in reimbursements.
Thats one of the things I think was most lost on the Biden/Harris team, even my friends who “did well” on paper under Biden, it was usually unrealized gains while the costs wouldn’t tamper down. What good is a 401k doubling if you can’t sell it, or worse had to sell off with penalties, if all your costs are up and due dates are today. Another, is how home values may have went up, but for most people that just meant things like taxes and insurance went up which is just like a loss if they didn’t own multiple homes.
What upsets me the most, is that the most possible outcome of a New York Class E felony conviction, conditional discharge isn’t being discussed despite it being the only outcome with sense, how is a four year delay even considered an option?
This is one of the fishiest stories I’ve heard in a long time. Three guys, one from Brooklyn, another from Staten, and the last guy was/is in Iran and called in a whole plot over the phone to the FBI. As I understand it supposedly this Iranian is being protected by the government who he just betrayed per the FBI. And the guys in NY did not do any of the hits or kidnappings the Iranian claimed was in the process of happening. The Iranian only knew the New Yorkers because they all spent time together in state prison before he was reported. This sounds like one of those Swatter / revenge type of cases.

We clearly already failed. Despite there being better candidates, most of the country seems hell bent on supporting the status quo. “Law and order” crowd backing a felon, ACAB crowd supporting a prosecutor. Both of who are backed by the richest people in the country and spending over a billion each. The mental gymnastics to consider third party a waste compared to trading in all your morals for “lesser evil,” it is just astounding.
It sounds like the 475 recovered are separate from hundreds more damaged beyond recovery. In any event allegedly 4 of these box explosives have been linked, the mandatory minimum for explosives during 4 Federal felonies would result in a 70 year consecutive sentence (so has to be in addition to whatever happens for the electronic interference). So even with the ghost of Johnny Cochran its a life sentence if he does not beat all the charges.
Does she admit she takes money from questionable sources? I last saw Harris dancing with the (almost? Not sure) Billionaire Beyonce, asking for more money. Literally has 10000x the worth of the average American, in cash at that, for essentially an ad campaign but dig deep in your pocket to support her. As I said previously, I said “deny” not about her wealth, but that she obtained such wealth through questionable means.
