Wouldn’t that just allow Trump to install one of his puppets?

How will you build wealth without mortgages and just paying cash? Then most people wouldn’t be able to afford to buy a home, they would always be slaves to rent. No mortgages plays right into the hand of the wealthy few that can exploit the renters.
What do you mean? I checked my doorbell camera and you always leave house at around 8 am and return around 5.30 pm, nothing out of the ordinary? /s
For clarity: I despise everything about Trump.
But celebrating the 250th anniversary of the army is a logical thing to do. Most countries around the world, even democracies, would do that. Look at for example the parades in France.
The thing Trump is doing wrong in this scenario is that he makes it about him. He is having a parade for his birthday, not the 250th birthday of the army. Fucking narcissist.
That’s bad and all, but: They are using Signal?!
I’m just in awe about those 28% and 33% tax brackets. I’m in the 49,5% bracket here in The Netherlands. That being said, I’m fortunate to be in it.
“See, I told you they are attacking us!” /s
So if I understand it correctly, there is literally nothing stopping anyone in the US to start such a party and participate. The only thing is that the party might not accumulate enough votes to be of relevance. It might be worth a shot if there is sufficient momentum (which currently there seems to be from my arm chair point of view).
Nice Shot!
Ignorant Dutchman here:
What’s stopping anyone from starting a new Workers’ party in the US? A multi party system seems more favorable than its current state.
To be honest, I think we are well passed that scenario. Even if Putin dies today, his puppets in Russia will grab for power. Meanwhile, they still own the president of the US. They know they have the support needed to win in Ukraine, they will use it to build trust with the citizens of Russia and show strength. Even better, the US will be weakened in supporting Russia, but that’s not really a bad scenario for Russia either.
until Trump determines that Ukrainian leaders are making a genuine effort toward peace.
They are literally shooting every Russian they spot on their soil, how is that not making a genuine effort toward peace?
Mostly in the US though, but unfortunately the US is leaking :(
Such a long time ago and I still hear this scene when I see the picture combined with the slightly altered text. Wild.
But is capitalism really the issue here? As far as I can tell, you can put in place any economic agenda, if people just vote against themselves and if laws are actively ignored, the economic policy doesn’t really matter?
Unironically, it’s better than we currently have. At least this speedometer would be right in front of me.
Destroying peoples property is not the answer. Declining sales figures is.
To me, it’s more about the goal he was trying to achieve. He clearly did it to taunt and insult. In that context, I can see how this should be a punishable offense (not death though).
It would be a similar thing if you had learned that the prime minister of Sweden likes to create art at home. Then buying one of his art pieces and burn it in front of his house. Sure, burning art is not a punishable offense, but the goal of intimidating someone with such a symbol could/should be.
I don’t buy that. I live on the other side of the planet and I know what project 2025 is and its key action points. It’s not just foreign media that were reporting on it. I also watch some US late night shows, especially when a major event like an election is about to happen. Most late night shows also discussed project 2025 at length.
