I just dump the changes with timestamps to a text file. Notifications for IP changes get sent to matrix after the DNS record is updated.

2·7 months agoI have to ask, do you use X11 or Wayland? I’m struggling to get Webex working for calls (video or otherwise) under Wayland.

tldrbecause I am too impatient to read through man pages or google the exact syntax for what I want to do.
Signal is more likely to have more mass appeal. Matrix can bridge just about anything but is (IMHO) a pain to setup the first time. XMPP is reliable and available just about anywhere. I use the first two.
Ask your friends though.
I’m thinking about going to Seattle in June. I’ve never been and I think it would be cool to visit for a week. It will be the first vacation for my wife and I without our children. So… 22 years?
