If you use a table saw, take it seriously.
I’d like to add: don’t wear gloves, especially ones that are a little to big for your hands.

I feel like I am missing some context here
In Germany we have…
Markus Söder, who changes his opinion faster than the wind turns and likes to put his face on anything; Shirts, cups, giant chocolate eggs, you name it. He also was very big on making Bavaria a german Cape Canaveral. No Idea what happened to that. But he is a huge populist, so probably nothing.
Then there is Friedrich Merz, our soon to be chancellor. He comes off as cold, mysogynist and increadibly out of touch. Under his leadership his party (CDU) has slowly veered to the far right, integrating nazi viewpoints into their programm.
These two on their own are just right asshats, who can’t compare to Trump’s bullshit (yet), but if you would fuse them together… maybe?
For me personally? I have been steadily changing the way I source media over the past 2-3 years. Also I lately read more of other ppl going back to physical media for the same-ish reasons.
CDs/DVDs/BluRays
I don’t want to support Spotify, which is owned by tencent. I don’t want to spend a fortune on streaming services. I don’t want to sell my data to google by using YouTube, and I want to be able to listen to music/ watch movies when offline.
I think meditation has scientifically proven effects. One thing I keep hearing is that the slow concious breaths you take whilst meditating are signaling your nervous system that you are safe and can calm down.
oh lol xDShould I change it back? :>
That’s because I haven’t thought of something yet.
How did you support essential workers during the pandemic?
I keep my OSs set in English, although it’s not my native language. Simply, because most articles and forum posts for troubleshooting are in english and it makes translating sub-menu titles obsolete
Low level explanations for high level PC hardware knowledge.
I appreciate channels like Gamers Nexus, but a good chunk of the information they put out, are just funny words to me.
I mean the man is a lawyer. Surely that makes it legal, right?
I’d like to add drinking to that. If your hobby is drinking, and you drink several times a week, you might have an issue.
but it’s not an ADHD “pick up every hobby” friendly one
That’s true. I was in luck and there was a blacksmith in town who opens his workshop to kids on occasion or travels to job conventions and brought his tools with him. Maybe there are comparable activities/ offers near you, which I can highly recommend. Not only will you not have to worry about tools and materials, most importantly there will be a “teacher” around.
If you find something and decide to check it out, have fun! :)
Blacksmithing is one of the few hobbies that a guy probably can’t teach his girlfriend because women usually use a different technique to make up for strength differences.
Me, a woman who tried blacksmithing before: Don’t use spring steel or other metals that are hard to manipulate/hammer into shape when starting off. Don’t start with a sword, start with bending and twisting a nail into… whatever. If they like the hobby they’ll stick to it and the muscle will build over time. And if it doesn’t: power tools.
underrated comment xD
No, I don’t think headphones will changes the skull, unless you put them on a newborn. But I do wonder how much information could be lost, given how much of it is digitalized nowadays.
