You’d have to pretty much tie it into a knot or crease it to cause a serious problem. I’ve seen people treat them like copper, flattening loops “so they can’t act as an antenna”, and they still work fine. These are single-use drones pulling an individual ~40km strand off a big spool. As long as it comes off the spool cleanly, they should work just fine for as long as they need to. I imagine them getting tangled is the bigger risk.

In case you want to use it more than once.

Tesla was the frontrunner for EV range for many years, but others (not Subaru) have caught them now. And as Tesla never fixed their build quality problems, they’re second tier at best now. I concur, I would buy a Subaru ICE car, but I may never have to buy one of those again.

Don’t clean it with paper towels or it will scratch up the glass. They recommend using newspaper instead.

We knew that if you pressed the satellite button and channel up/down, it let you manually move the dish, and it didn’t care how long you did it. There were also numbers to indicate the position of the dish. The rest was just sheer determination.
Had C-band satellite as a teen. All the good channels locked. But if the satellite Spacenet 1 transponder 18 was locked, you could “fine tune” the reception from say, Galaxy 3 transponder 18 by holding the step up or down button, and manually swing the dish halfway across the sky to the same position where Spacenet 1 is. As the descrambler thinks you are watching a different satellite altogether, there is no more lock. And since you never actually visited a bad channel, no way to tell with history or last buttons.
Keith Laumer, Gordon R. Dickson and Jack McDevitt are probably the ones I re-read the most.
