The pardon power is sort of odd to begin with. It gives not just the executive branch, but a single executive the power to completely override the judicial branch. I do feel there should be a committee or set of guidelines in place, regardless of who holds office.
It is partly age, but is also the general establishment, I think that the party overall has become too set in their ways. They are playing a completely different game than the Republicans are, at the most of the Dem leadership is. They didn’t seem to understand that the GOP is playing for keeps, these plans have been in the works for decades and now that they are out in the open they seem caught unaware for some reason.
I don’t like the idea of living in a country where 100% of the media is controlled by the wildly unpopular fascist regime in power.
This isn’t a joke, the media absolutely needs to be able to exercise free speech.
Well he did allow kegs-breath to rename the Department of Defense to the Department of War. Seems like that may have been a red flag for those interested in reduced foreign conflict involvement. Welp, we have a war dept now, might as well use it!
