American people could think of it anther way. By not getting involved, other countries are attempting to keep this as a bad idea by Trump and not full on WWIII which would probably be the result if NATO got involved now. What you really need is some adults in the room in the WH who convince Trump that it is his brilliant genius idea to just walk away.

Right now leaders on the top of the board for offing should be: Putin, Netanyahu, Trump. Could probably settle out then and see if the wars all over the world that those 3 are fomenting stop and reassess if any other leaders needed to be added to the list.
This isn’t solely due to Trump. This is due to American politicians over decades. They haven’t been able to make Cuba buckle and be held under America’s thumb. Cuba has survived. Even on some metrics done well. The US must punish that or Americans in general might catch on that America isn’t the greatest and capitalism isn’t the end all be all of economic systems. Babies dying is just fine by MEGA - so long as no abortions are had.

I had a relative once say that she’s vegetarian, won’t eat animals. I point out the chicken she’s eating and has always eaten, and she says “It’s from the grocery store, not an animal”. We had to have a long chat. People too divorced from real food and its sources, have some weird assumptions.

I grew up on a subsistence farm. Everyone always worked. Every single day of the year. Some days were very long, some were short depending on what needed to be done. To survive. Of course we had fun and time off as well. It’s about balance. Most people don’t have to do back to the land subsistence living anymore because they substituted living in cities and taking paying jobs to buy what they need. No matter the path, you still have to do some sort of work to live. You can choose which path to some extent. There are small farms looking for people to come work for them in exchange for room and board.

He wants what he needs in a relationship. You want what you need in a relationship. Neither is wrong. Neither is fully right, either. What matters is that it meant you were no longer compatible with each other for an ongoing friendship. That happens. Only a small portion of friendships stand for long periods of time or a lifetime. The vast majority are situational and when the situation changes, they go. Sometimes if the situation changes again, they come back.
The US is doing this to Iran, and Cuba. As I think about the fuel and food crisis in Cuba, I wonder, can we do this to the US to force regime change there? Just cut off all exports to the US until Trump and his cronies are forced out?
Forget the whole Trump angle that might be motive. Why wasn’t he at least charged with manslaughter? It seems outrageous that he could claim accidental and get away with it.

Not that many of them die in Western countries although they may have shorter overall lifespans. Doesn’t help that they add generations in 15-22 years instead of 25-40.
