Gerrymandering allows those in rural, low population areas rule over far larger populations, giving the conservatives an advantage, even when they are in the minority. It isn’t fair to the majority of voters, and has to end. These conservatives want to have computers and AI do everything but draw political districts.

The people VOTE for it, but Big Business bribes all the politicians to defy the vote of their constituents and give them what they demand.

IF we ever get out of this mess, we have to make some major changes to our system, do that these corporations and politicians understand that they work for US, and they will do what they are told.

There is no such thing as the Republican Party any more. The current party in power does not follow the basic tenets of the Republican Party - lower taxes, smaller government, family values, personal liberty, etc. - and are not Republican. The Republican Party has been fully replaced by the MAGA Party.

Democrats should make it official that they no longer recognize the Republican Party, and only refer to their opposition as the MAGA Party. Make the Republicans understand that “The Party of Lincoln” ended on their watch.

The Tea Party had to take control of the Republican Party before it could evolve into MAGA, and the Progressives are going to have to take over the Democratic Party before they can establish a true Constitutional government.

Recently, four women on a girl’s weekend in Florida, took shelter under a beach cabana during a sudden storm. The cabana got hit by lightning, and knocked all of them unconscious. They recovered, and one of them was on the news, saying in her thick southern drawl that she was praying and thanking God for protecting them.

I was so shocked, I yelled at the TV “Honey, have you forgotten that being struck by lightning is God’s traditional method of smiting people he HATES? If there’s a God, he wasn’t trying to save you, he was trying to KILL you!”

Religious people who are being rampaged by natural disasters should really be reconsidering their version of religion. It seems that their God isn’t on board with their choices.

Music is always a great way to make friends. Most musicians want to make music with others, so they are pretty easy to approach about it. If you aren’t up to their level, they’ll help you, and if you are better than them, you can help them.

I’m an old guy, but I can’t tell you how fast the generation gaps evaporate when musicians start talking. Decades don’t matter when you are talking about your favorite music.

Oh yeah, there was no doubt at the time that the primary reason for ignoring this incoming disaster was because Nawlins was a Democratic stronghold among a vast Red region.

It was the first real time that we saw Republicans withhold help from Americans simply because they weren’t from the same party. Now it’s expected that Dems will help everybody, but the MAGA Nazis (the Republican Party doesn’t exist any more) will only help their own.

I think it’s great that people like David Hogg and Mamdani are scaring the Trad Dems into exposing their true nature.
