I have my own clinic. I work 6 hour shifts. Healthcare doesn’t have to be like this.

Shifts are generally 12 hours. However, it’s pretty common to have a case come in at 11:30, and one is on that case till it’s done. So 13-14 hour shifts are not uncommon.

I’m ok with the GOP looking bad, making gaff after gaff. This time in particular. And I would love to have the GOP become a functional governing party, that was inclusive of all citizens. Not holding my breath. But that saying, “A house that is divided against itself cannot stand.” keeps coming to mind. If half of my home were rotting away, I sure would want to do something about that.
