I think you’re trying to gaslight us and yourself into believing that this post has standing and that you didn’t fuck up.

Stop with the stilted arguments and actually listen to what people are telling you (after you asked for it) in a much nicer tone than I am using right now.

Yes, we want to know how the sausage is made, just like with all FOSS.

what does the community actually expect from devs

Don’t flood the zone.

It really isn’t so long ago when making an app required various stages of completion and testing, usually including other people. I expect from devs that they follow that well-established road and stop with the silly “who has the time” argument I’m hearing so often lately. Sorry, you didn’t actually say that.

Is it available by now btw?

I always mean opensource, openweight models not OpenAI/Anthropic/X-AI crap

Honest question: is it even possible to separate oneself completely from AI’s multifaceted exploitation by using “FOSS AI”?

And if yes, does such ethically acceptable “FOSS AI” exist?

Giving the current vector you aren’t even leaning out very far.

The modern social media platform is not designed to foster positive interactions, but rather to maximize shareholder value.

This is so much more important than whatever elitism OOP implies.

I’m also not 40 btw.

I expected nothing except being entertained.

Sorry, you made me say it.

That’s an honest opinion I can accept, even though that’s exactly why I put the book down again.
