    Statistically speaking, that would split the American “left” vote while not affecting the number of republican voters at all. At best it would give the republicans at least a minority government in every election for a long time and nothing will change. As impossible as it seems, the best course of action would be to try to effect change in the democratic party instead of trying to run against them. It really a shitty scenario with no real winning solution at present.

              Short sighted is liberals that keep electing the same people and expecting different results. They won’t look at their failures in the past to gauge how they will legislate in the future and are shocked when it plays out exactly the way leftists projected it
