The fact that “AI” has become a cultural cause for Republicans tells you everything you meed to know about whether AI is worthwhile. I say this as someone working in the AI industry.

This war is now entirely about him saving face, performing as if he knows what he’s doing and is powerful. I agree. The people as represented by this and so many votes, suck. We have, very democratically, assembled the very fascist machine that is killing us and ironically the democracy itself.

The Democratic Party needs to be taken out back and shot. Elections like this are why you’re now living in a metastasizing fascist state.

Let me take this opportunity to, once again, reiterate that I (a lifetime Democratic Party voter), am entirely done with harm reduction voting. I will no longer vote for the lesser evil if the candidate sucks. The party has to start nominating candidates that don’t suck.

I’m not kidding when I say, I’m not voting for a Democrat for president that doesn’t have teardown and prosecute policies in their campaign platform. There are more important issues, but these are the easy things. If a candidate can’t get these right, they cannot be trusted with the more complex issues.

I guess I’m glad he’s saying it, but I’m entirely sure this unserious fool would personally grind children into the concrete foundations of new data centers if his corporate paymasters wanted him to.

I never said Ukraine was doing terrorism. I’m asking questions to understand whether Ukraine is doing terrorism. Russia’s is definitely doing terrorism.

It’s just so frustrating that a community like this is so determined to make excuses for, and create a permission structure for what could be terrorism.
