Similar issues were reported with aves libre early this week, maybe it’s related?
IMO the obvious course is:
- Talk with your boss that it’s affecting your productivity.
- Encourage your colleagues to talk to their boss.
Leading to your bosses ideally addressing this with his boss and if that doesn’t help then your bosses should bring in HR.

World News@lemmy.world•Zelensky presses Trump for "clear position" on UkraineEnglish
1·1 month agosince Trump is a Russian stooge who was put in office by Putin to deliver the victory
I am unsure. Logic tells me Trump has had enough opportunities to completely shit on Ukraine and has not taken them. His position is IMHO unclear.
strong demand for oil and gas benefits Russia proportionately far more than it does the US…
I disagree. Income for gas exports has not risen LINK whereas US exports continue to do so LINK
And “competitor” in what, exactly?
Geopolitical influence overall (e.g. in the Middle East, Asia, Central Europe)

World News@lemmy.world•Zelensky presses Trump for "clear position" on UkraineEnglish
153·1 month agoI have said it before and I will say it again.
It is not in the interest of the US that this war finishes. A stalemate guarantees continued weapons sales much longer that peace.
Currently the US is getting
- raised income via defence and energy contracts (incl. Oil & Gas) &
- prolonged economic disadvantage to a competitor nation via sanctions.
Because the Roman Catholic church and various other such religious cults decided it so.
The small part of the feet also used to measure things. You standardised those, right?
I was hiking recently and saw a massive caterpillar. I took a photo and asked our national biological office if they could ID it cos AI was doing a shit job (as usual).
They identified it and said that it almost definitely arrived as a seed or smaller caterpillar attached to a car and managed to find its way into the forest. They mentioned that they normally return with holidayers in the summer and don’t make it through the cold winter’s, but this may shift due to climate change. This thing was about 18 cm (7 American toes) long.
Crazy to see how much shit these critters can handle and still survive (for now…).

politics @lemmy.world•Trump calls for Intel boss Lip-Bu Tan to resign over alleged China ties
4·3 months agoHere’s my low-stakes conspiracy take: If Intel felt it would be profitable to fight back against this, they would have. He forms an optimal scapegoat for their ongoing issues and this allows for the company to restructure without much impedance.
Firing their CEO “normally” may have otherwise meant a further tanking of Intel’s share price, at a time they can I’ll afford it.
You hit the nail on the head:
Don’t get me wrong, I am absolutely anti “AI baked into my operating system and cell phone so that it can monitor me and sell me crap”. If that’s what being Anti AI is…to that I say Amen.
Most cases in consumer ai, it’s data harvesting gone haywire and it’s not being implemented to benefit society.
From what I see, very few people are stupid enough to blanket hate it, but it is overhyped and being used maliciously.
I love scam posts. They just make me all warm and fuzzy inside!
And not because of the clearly scammy nature of it all, but mostly because it means that there are sufficient users of Lemmy to make it worthwhile to try and scam 🥰
So, thank you Matrecovery and RaymondBucks079, for letting us all know that the lemmy is infact well and truly alive.

I’m running a home space with jellyfin and navidrome on a Pi5. Until now it’s been perfectly fine playing local and normally streaming to a single device at a time. The online support and off the shelf peripheries for troubleshooting the pi is also great!
I went to plug a 5TB drive into the pi the other day and it unmounted the SSD that was already plugged in. To me this is a sign that it is not build to handle more rigorous tasks (e.g. streaming to multiple devices, whilat performing a back up).
I probably won’t be swapping the system anytime soon, but I would go for a refurbed mini PC if I could go back in time.
