He’s lived in a lot of houses over the years including a college house. So we invited all his friends from college for his 18th birthday. He always seemed oddly comfortable being surrounded by lots of people and a little chaos. So I think he appreciated getting to see a big group of his friends after having graduated college.
As for camping, we booked a little cabin in the woods. The cabin had electricity and an ac, but no running water, if that gives you an idea. So it was a camping, but comfortable enough for him to like it, aka glamping. Initially he seemed confused being in a new place, but after a couple hours, he was very excited by all the nature around him. In his old age, his top speed was very slow, so we could let him explore a little without him running off.
Awwww she must have been a great cat and friend. Queen of that log!
I’m sorry for your loss. I would love to see a picture of your cat that passed, if you’re comfortable sharing
I’m actually just the adopted father of 4 years, but I’m very grateful for those 4 years. My partner has had him for all 18 years.
Does toaster control imply I can also read the internal state of the toaster with my mind? Like can I detect if the bread is about to burn?
His butt is pointing the wrong way

It get’s even weirder. I’m now writing this from PieFed. If you view this comment from PieFed it won’t have the trailing slash, but from Lemmy it will. https://piefed.social/
Thank you for coming on this journey with me.
This is sick!

The old ban the word and you don’t have to worry about the thing that the word describes
It’s cloud services, not things being web based. It’s capitalism hijacking technology and preventing you from owning anything. Figma runs in the browser and it’s a fantastic piece of software. But it’s also a cloud service that can be taken away from you at any point. But if you subtract the business model, the fact that you can run something like that in the browser is incredible. Web makes it so incredibly easy to distribute cross platform software. FOSS should embrace it and use it to build actually good software not all this SASS garbage.
