Yes, great advice for most cats, especially indoors. Living in a rural area in the woods, the most I’m willing to do is “Alexa, is it safe to feed cats <insert today’s leftovers >” as I have so many mouths to feed 😹

Despite his girth, he was only 7 months old in that picture, and we had had him indoors for 2 months by then. I can massage his toes, belly, and play with his tail to my heart’s content. I’ve probably been able to since about his second week in the house (first week was quarantine and neutering).
His mom knew he wasn’t going to cut it in the wild and left him with us as he was the only one from his litter always looking in our windows trying to figure us out🤣 edit: and to answer the actual question, about 6 months!
