This is a dumb take.
Anyone saying that DCC is not sci-fi is wrong. I’ll assume you haven’t read it. The ENTIRE STORY is about an Alien syndicate causing the apocalypse on Earth to force humans to play what is essentially a real life video game. It’s run by aliens, and hyper advanced AI. It’s full of real functional science portals. The fantasy elements of the book are artifice for the game. This is some pretty weird gatekeeping. I think people are getting sci-fi and hard sci-fi confused. Just chill out. There is no lack of Sci-Fi in this world, and if you haven’t read DCC you are doing yourself a disservice.
Remember, even if he is a vegetable, someone can casts votes for him as long as no one know for certain he’s brain dead.

She is protecting her benefactors. ALMOST surprised she hasn’t been fully pardoned yet. I would look for that in the last few days of second term if he lives that long.
I don’t know exactly who you are talking about, but I did everything I could. Unfortunately I am not a fucking billionaire so my efforts don’t hit as hard. That said, I actually couldn’t believe the results of the election. I think there are a lot of people didn’t expect this outcome. I mean it was hard to imagine re-electing a person who actually lost their reelection bid before, and that person is one of the most caustic and evil people to ever hold office. It was unprecedented.
At the end of the day viewing DCC as fantasy is perfectly fine, and not invalid, just wanted to address the silliness that it wasn’t sci-fi.
