I don’t even understand sign language and they’ve even managed to make him sound like a complete moron in his tweets. That’s some serious effect they have here.

The countries were at peace before something caused them to escalate into a war. You can’t just declare that a war has ended by having a representative from each side sign a piece of paper and expect it to remain this way without addressing the root causes that lead to said war to begin with.

But trying to understand the situation and finding ways to address those root causes requires far more work than Trump can be bothered with. He only cares about giving the impression that he did something.

As usual, Trump has an overly simplistic view of the problem to match his abysmal level of understanding of it, and proposes equally simplistic solutions to it. He then declares he fixed it because of how much of a genius he is and then ignores the evidence that it didn’t work.

We know.

It’s like they’re not trusting the US for the defence of their sovereignty. That’s weird. I wonder why.

In terms of immediately satisfying and Hollowoodesquely spectacular result? No, you won’t see it as long as the fascists are in control of the government.

The refusal to give up and and refusing to normalize this behavior is however still invaluable. It will hopefully pay off in the mid terms and help the institution to heal from all the damage it has been taking since the beginning of the year.

Trump says whatever he feels will get people to applaud him with zero regards to truth, reality and/or consistency with what he previously said.

His “opinions” are also heavily influenced by whoever spoke to him most recently about the subject.

The point of the move is to point this blatant corruption out.

They’ve been allowed to game the system to hoard way more wealth than any single person should have been able to. They were supposed to pay their employees more, charge less to their customers or if all fails pay more taxes. But they didn’t do any of that.

If this was a video game that would be called an “exploit that breaks the gameplay experience for everyone else” and it would have been solved in a patch. But to remain in the same analogy, they are buddies with the game developers so they’re allowed to do anything they want. The only difference is that everyone in the country is forced to play this broken game as it is.
